So.. I left home to work today, wearing black and expecting to find the streets so dark since everyone is motashe7 bel sawad.. At first, no one, I said to myself wait till we approach Tahrir, I'll notice the black clothing better, then we got to Tahrir square and.. nothing.. On the way back home.. still no one..
I actually noticed today that Egyptians were very brightly dressed, i never noticed that we are such colorful people until today and I can definetely assure you that Fuschia and Turquoise are in fashion!
I don't mind.. I don't want to interfere with what people do, I just felt like when going with your friends to a party and agreeing together we'll wear jeans and you get there to find everyone so dressed up and you're the only one in jeans!! well.. no one was in black.. However, I did discover I look a lot slimmer in black! I hope the next 7edad will not be in the swim suits!

Shammousa, I myself felt that when I was at the street, but when I checked with my friends, a lot assured me they are wearing black today and they have other friends at work doing the same. May be, the number of people wasn't that large, but who did was a considerable number, so be proud of yourself for what you did. You are positive.

Ma3lesh..
Welcome to the positive world!
Most people didn't know about it to start with.
The graphic is really nice. Would you allow me to use it (with link to you of course)?

Of course you can use it Doc., da yesharafni ya fandem. And I guess you're right, I actually think we over estimate the number of internet users not to mention bloggers too. I'm very disappointed, it reminds me of "wa2fet el regala" elli we2efnaha when we boycotted mobiles for a day, then I discovered that those who were more concerned than I was didn't do it!

Laughed my heart out at the last words .. swim suits! mm..lets give it a second thought!
Wore black too and when I would notice a woman wearing black, I would want to go to her and ask her "are u wearing black cuz ..?"
But at the end I decided not to ask, so that I wouldn't discover that she wore it by chance and get disapponted!

Maybe it was not well publicized enough time before for people to know ... definitly the Egyptain Opposition should unite ! I don't think there is much chance for them to stand and fight in any civilized way with the vicious regime unless they unite in numbers that can take over and bring the country to a halt if they are trambled upon by the regime gangs again like what happened .
